Two Bondi born icons – Speedo and Eugene ‘Uge’ Tan collaborate in spectacular style with the limited edition Speedo Aquabumps range of swimwear. The range features Uge’s beautiful photography of Bondi Beach which has been applied to the swimwear collection giving each piece a distinctive and unique appeal. The Speedo Aquabumps collection includes boardshorts for men, and bikinis and one pieces for women, as well a children’s range, available from August 2011. “Uge” has been a keen photographer since the age of nine, and surfed for 25 years, so this range has pedigree bar none considering their collective expertise. For those unfamiliar with Aquabumps, it’s the name of his in Bondi Beach based gallery, as well as daily email to over 40,000 subscribers of beaches around the world, not forgetting his home beach, Bondi. A selection of his work is also showcased in his new Aquabumps book. The lookbook images of the range feature 2009′s Miss Universe Australia Rachael Finch, with Top Model Sophie Van Den Akker, which was also shot by Eugene Tan.
